Bensalem Police Launching 'Copsicle' Ice Cream Truck Wednesday
Police will be offering free ice cream via the new Copsicle ice cream truck, which launches Wednesday at Imagination Land Playground.

BENSALEM, PA — Police in Bensalem this week are launching a new initiative to get into the community and foster strong bonds with the public by offering free ice cream.
On Wednesday, police will officially unveil their new "Copsicle," a police ice cream bus.
The Copsicle will make its debut at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Imagination Land Playground, 3700 Hulmeville Road. It will be located at the corner of Hulmeville and Byberry roads.

The public can get free ice cream from the truck.
This Copsicle is a converted small school bus that was donated by the Bensalem Township School District.

Police also got funding support from Building a Better Bensalem and Creekside to convert the bus into the ice cream truck.
