Bensalem Police Seek Jiffy Lube Burglar

VIDEO: A man broke into the store early Friday morning and used a hammer to bash his way into a file cabinet.

BENSALEM, PA — Police in Bensalem are investigating a burglary they say happened early Friday at a local Jiffy Lube store.

At about 6:15 a.m., police say, a man broke into the business on Street Road by shattering the glass front door. Once inside, they say, he stole a pair of electronic auto repair tools valued at $400.

The burglar is described as a white male, wearing a mask, gloves, a dark sweatshirt, jeans and boots.

Video of the burglary shared by Bensalem Township Police appears to show him holding a hammer and a flashlight. He can be seen using the flashlight to search through an office area, then using the hammer to bash open a cabinet, then take something out of it.

He appears to look for something again in the office area, before leaving the store. The video can be viewed below.
