Bensalem Police Seeking Information About Hit-And-Run

Accident occurred Tuesday night and involved a silver vehicle striking a pedestrian on Lincoln Highway

BENSALEM, PA— The Bensalem Police Department is asking the public for information about a hit-and-run accident that occurred Tuesday night and involved a vehicle striking a pedestrian. The department shared a photo of the car believed to be involved in the accident.

According to Bensalem police, the accident was reported at approximately 9:30 p.m. and took place in the 2300 block of Lincoln Highway. A silver vehicle, with right front damage, struck a pedestrian, then the vehicle fled north on Lincoln Highway.

Bensalem Police Deputy Director of Public Safety William McVey said Wednesday the victim in the hit-and-run was in critical condition. But he gave no further details.
