Bensalem To Run Full-Day Summer Playground Program

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Township is working to "bring back a bit of summer" for kids this year with a full-day playground program.

The program will run from June 28-July 29 and be held at Bensalem Community Park. It will be held from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays and is limited to 100 kids.

Officials say COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Parents will be required to sign a COVID waiver and follow all safety requirements in place for the program. There will be no outside trips during the program.

The program is open to Bensalem residents and children from ages 6-12 or those entering first grade. Children who have completed seventh grade are not eligible.

The program costs $525 and registration is on a first come-first served basis, officials said. To register, call 215-633-3616.
