Bensalem Students Participate In 'String Day'

BENSALEM, PA — A group of middle school and high school students from Bensalem recently showed off their strings skills.

The Bensalem Township School District Orchestra members participated in the Bucks County Music Educators "String Day" festival on Saturday, Nov. 2. The one-day festival was held in the Council Rock School District and featured the top string students in grades 7-9 from all over Bucks County.

At the event, students were given music in the morning, rehearsed all day and performed a concert in the afternoon.

Participating from Bensalem were Dawn Meo, Emiliano Quinones, Maria Davis, Keelyn Fitzgerald, Victoria Mocarski, Sara Devlin, Martha Cuna, Victoria Grigoryeva, Diana Sosa, Madison Thai, Angelina Barbieri, Audrey Yale, Phoebe Ting and Gabriella Cervantes.
