Binx has been at Women's Animal Center in Bensalem since October. Staffers say he came to them after he was thrown out of a car.

They don't know much about his past, but think he's got a bright future. They say Binx is an incredibly sweet and mellow dog, who's happiest when taking a leisurely stroll or laying by your side.

Women's Animal Center staff think Binx has been overlooked so far because he's 8 years old and has a sad face when he's in his kennel. But they say he lights up and his personality shines when he's outside.

Details on the Women's Animal Center adoption process are available on the group's website. The adoption fee for dogs nine months and older is $125.
