Bristol, At Women's Animal Shelter, Is Ready To Meet You

She's spent a long time at the shelter and is one of their most senior dogs. But Bristol deserves a forever home.

BENSALEM, PA — At about 10 years old, Bristol is looking for a good home where she'll be loved for the rest of her years.

The folks at Women's Animal Shelter in Bensalem say she came to them as a stray, so they don't know much about her past. But here's what they do know: She's sweet and chatty. She has no problem letting you know when she wants treats or attention. She'll bark at you until she gets what she wants.

Staff at the shelter say Bristol has been good with other dogs and would do great in a home with kids. The do suggest a home with no cats, though.

"At about 10 years old, we would love for the rest of Bristol’s days to be spent with a loving family and not in the shelter," staffers told Patch.

Details on the Women's Animal Center adoption process are available on the group's website. The adoption fee for dogs nine months and older is $125.
