Easterseals is celebrating its 100th year of service this year. We are proud of our long history of not only services, but also advocacy. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is an important piece of legislation that has had a profound impact on the disability community. July 26th marks the 29th Anniversary of the ADA.
To celebrate, Easterseals will be hosting the Week of 100 Dinners. Affiliates across the country will be hosting dinners within the community to celebrate both of these milestones with the goal of raising $100,000 to benefit all of the important work that Easterseals does for those with disabilities.
In addition to Metro Diner, where 20% of all proceeds from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. will be donated, Easterseals will also be hosting two other local dinners during the week. On July 23rd, Café Lift in Narberth will be hosting a dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. and 20% of proceeds will be donated to Easterseals. On July 25th The Iron Hill Brewery in Media will make it an all-day event, from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. and 20% of proceeds from customers with a coupon will be donated to Easterseals.
