Forecasters Warn Of High Winds Sunday, Monday In Eastern Pennsylvania
Gusts of up to 60 mph are predicted. Downed trees and power lines are possible.
The National Weather Service is warning of high winds Sunday night into Monday, with gusts of up to 60 miles per hour possible in the Philadelphia region.
A high wind watch is in effect from late tonight through Monday afternoon, with sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph possible and gusts even higher. The high wind watch is in place in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
The winds will be high enough to potentially blow down trees and power lines, forecasters say. "Scattered power outages are possible. Travel will likely become difficult...especially for high profile vehicles," the National Weather Service warned.
