BENSALEM, PA — Firefighters in Bensalem put out a house fire they say was caused by a gas generator.

Fire crews were called at about 11:10 a.m. Wednesday to the 1600 block of Byberry Road. There, they saw smoke pouring from the back of the residence and more units were called.

The firefighters were able to put out the fire without injuries and the blaze was ruled to be accidental, caused by the generator being used too close to flammable materials.
