Halloween Rally Planned At Bucks Co. Trump Store

BENSALEM, PA — A Halloween rally in support of President Donald Trump has been scheduled at the Bucks County store devoted to selling merchandise to his supporters.

The rally is set for noon-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, at The Trump Store, at 2060 Street Rd. in Bensalem. Store owner Mike Domanico confirmed the date to Patch on Thursday.

Domanico said about 300 people have showed up for rallies the store has hosted in the past. Andy Meehan and the Trump Train Band will be performing.

Meehan, a local financial advisor, unsuccessfully challenged U.S. Rep Brian Fitzpatrick in the Republican primary for the House seat representing Bucks and a sliver of Montgomery County.

The Trump Store opened in Bensalem in February. It is a one-stop shop for merchandise related to the nation's 45th president, from the ubiquitous red "Make America Great Again" caps and T-shirts to more-unusual items such as Trump shot glasses, Trump flags and phony money with Trump's face on the bill.

Domanico, of Chalfont, opened it along with his wife, Monica. As the owner of Sik-Nastee Apparel Co., he had been selling political merchandise for a while and said Trump merchandise was much more popular than items in support of any particular Democratic candidate.

The rally will be just days before Pennsylvania plays a key role in the election between Trump and Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden. Recent polling has shown Biden with an advantage over Trump in the commonwealth.
