BENSALEM, PA — A truck driver had major injuries and I-95 was shut down for about eight hours on Tuesday after a tractor-trailer and a car crashed in the early-morning hours.

Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky said the crash happened at 4:13 a.m. between the Bristol and Street Road exits.

Branosky said earlier media reports that someone had died in the crash were inaccurate. But, he said, the man driving the tractor-trailer had major injuries and the woman driving the car had minor injuries.
