Imagination Land Reopens: Bensalem Park To Continue Summer Hours

After a June closure, the accessible playground will be open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. beginning Thursday.

BENSALEM, PA — Imagination Land Playground, a popular spot for families and kids, will reopen on Thursday, July 8, the Bensalem Department of Parks & Recreation said. The playground is designed to be fully accessible to, and inclusive of, children of all different abilities.

“Imagination Land Playground is one of the first fully accessible playgrounds that meets the needs of handicapped children and promotes inclusion with special equipment,” the Parks & Recreation Department wrote.

Imagination Land had been closed since June 1 for maintenance to add a new ground covering. The addition is now complete.
