Lanes To Close On U.S. 1, Street Road, Bristol Road In Bensalem
The closures are for work on a project to rebuild and widen a 1.3-mile stretch of U.S. 1 in Bensalem.
BENSALEM, PA — Single-lane closures are planned for next week on U.S. 1, Street Road and Bristol Road in Bensalem, PennDOT announced.
The nighttime closures are scheduled for 8 p.m.-6 a.m. from Sunday, Jan. 12, through Friday, Jan. 17. The closures will be fore bridge and roadway construction on a project to rebuild, widen and improve a 1.3-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bensalem.

- Northbound or southbound U.S. 1 between Rockhill Drive and Old Lincoln Highway
- Eastbound or westbound Street Road between Old Lincoln Highway and Kingston Way
- Bristol Road between Belmont Avenue and Old Lincoln Highway. Traffic will be controlled by flagging
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and slowdowns are expected. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.
