Lanes On Turnpike In Bensalem Closing Thursday
The closures will be at the U.S. 1 interchange with the PA Turnpike.
BENSALEM, PA — Lanes on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bensalem will be closed overnight Thursday as crews work on repairs to the U.S. 1 overpass, PennDOT announced.
Westbound turnpike motorists will encounter a right-lane closure near the overpass from 10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, to 4 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31.
Drivers are advised to remain alert for backups and slowdowns near the work area.

The work is part of a corridor improvement project to rebuild and widen U.S. 1, replace aging bridges and install safety enhancements along a four-mile section of the expressway from just north of Philadelphia to just north of Rt. 413 (Pine Street) in Middletown and Langhorne.
