Man Arranged For Sex With 11-Year-Old: Bensalem Police

The 21-year-old from Levittown was arrested Wednesday with money and a bottle of rum outside of Neshaminy Mall, police say.

BENSALEM, PA — A man was arrested Wednesday outside of Neshaminy Mall, where police say he'd arranged to meet for sex with an 11-year-old girl.

Bensalem Township Police and FBI agents arrested Jonathan Savino, 21, of Levittown, at about 10 a.m. According to police, Savino had used an app called Addchat to arrange a meeting with someone he believed to be an 11-year-old girl, who would perform a sex act for him.

Instead, police say, Savino was talking to an undercover officer.

According to Bensalem Police, Savino had money and an unopened bottle of Malibu Coconut Rum when he was taken into custody. He is charged with attempted indecent deviant sexual intercourse, attempted unlawful contact with a minor, dissemination of images to a minor and other offenses.

He was arraigned Wednesday and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $750,000 bail.
