Thursday's virtual learning will be asynchronous, meaning teachers will assign activities and students will be marked "present" by completing their work. District officials said doing so will allow them to count Thursday toward this school year's required 180 days and not add a makeup day in June.
School buildings and offices will be closed and there will be no transportation for private schools, district officials said.
Bensalem Township School District intends to resume its hybrid schedule on Friday, weather permitting.
