Pitcher Mo’Ne Davis of Philadelphia’s Taney Dragons is the first Little League player to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

The cover of the latest edition features the eighth grader, who last week was the first female player to throw a shutout in the Little League World Series.

Davis, who can throw pitches as fast as 70 mph, is the 18th girl to play in the Little League World Series, according to ABC News.
