Police Seek Man On Camera Stealing Vacuum At Lowe's
Retail video from the self-checkout at a Lowe's shows a man suspected of taking a Dyson vacuum.
BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Police are seeking assistance from the public in apprehending a man who took a $400 Dyson vacuum cleaner from Lowe's on Saturday.
The man went to the self checkout aisle, scanned the wrong bar code, and paid $24.99 for the vacuum instead of its sticker price, police said. An employee attempted to stop the suspect from leaving the store, and he drove away in a newer model blue Volkswagen SUV. The vehicle did not have a registration plate.
"Someone knows this guy for sure," police wrote in a post sharing the video.
