See Who's Nominated So Far For Bensalem's Best Business

BENSALEM, PA — It may have been a tough year for some local businesses. But, in Bensalem, that hasn't stopped you from honoring your favorites.

Looking to shine a special spotlight on these local businesses, Patch is asking readers to nominate their Local Businesses of the Year. Since we first put out the call last week, four businesses have been named so far in Bensalem.

Whether it's the restaurant that made special accommodations for your takeout, the shop that opened early so you could pick up curbside, the pizzeria that went out of its way to deliver to your home or the hardware store owner that offered you invaluable advice when a repairman wasn't available — we want to hear about the businesses that have impacted your life this year in Bensalem.

So far, two restaurants, a hair salon and a local construction company have been honored.

What They Said: "Dom's has been around for over 70 years, still owned by the same family. It’s a great place to get homemade seafood."

What They Said: "A small family-owned and run take restaurant on Bristol Pike. They serve any breakfast platter/sandwiches you can imagine along with lunch and dinner platters. Everything is homemade....EVERYTHING! They also have a full made-to -rder barista area ... and the price ... AFFORDABLE!"

What They Said: "Style Studio has always felt like home to me. Even through this pandemic, they have gone above and beyond. When we were quarantined they offered up kits to make sure our grey hair was covered so we could feel good about ourselves. We could also get all of our products during lock down with their curbside pick up. After they opened back up, I couldn’t feel more safe walking in there but, yet, at the same time feeling welcomed back home. The have the friendliest, caring staff anyone could ask for. They go above and beyond your hair needs!"
