State Police Report Theft, Crash and DUI Arrests
Trevose troopers are investigating multiple incidents.

State police are investigating a reported theft in the 900 block of Bellevue Avenue, Hulmeville. The victim reported that sometime between Oct. 5 at 9:30 p.m. and Oct. 6 at 10:45 a.m., somebody stole $162 cash and prescription painkillers from her purse. There were no signs of forced entry, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Gronski at 215-942-3900.

On Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m., state police responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound at milepost 36 in Bensalem. Police said two vehicles were merging onto the highway from Street Road when one struck the other’s rear end.
On Oct. 8 at 12:20 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle for speeding on I-95 northbound at milepost 34.8 in Bensalem. The driver, a 23-year-old Edgewater, NJ woman, was found to be intoxicated and faces DUI charges.

On Oct. 8 at 12:59 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle for speeding on I-95 southbound at milepost 36.8 in Bensalem. The driver, a 47-year-old Philadelphia man, was found to be impaired and faces DUI charges.
