Still Time For Letters To Santa In Bensalem

Township residents can send a letter to Saint Nick via the parks and recreation department. See the deadline to get a letter back.

BENSALEM, PA — If your little ones in Bensalem have their wish lists all polished up and ready to go, there's still time for them to send them off to Santa — via his helpers at Bensalem's parks and recreation department — and get a letter back.

The deadline for letters to Santa is Dec. 9, so the jolly old elf has time to get a response back to the kids before Christmas.

Santa letters can be addressed to "Santa Claus, North Pole," c/o Bensalem Parks and Recreation Department, 2400 Byberry Rd., Bensalem, PA, 19020.

The letters can also be dropped off at Santa's mailbox outside the Parks and Recreation office at that address. The letters should include the child's name, age and address.

Also, don't forget that Bensalem's tree lighting is also set for Sunday, Dec. 9. Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, council members and parks and recreation officials will be on hand for the ceremony, beginning at 5 p.m. People attending the tree lighting are asked to bring a non-perishable food item.
