Summer Food Service Program Begins June 24

The Summer Food Service Program, a federally funded nutrition program for all children ages 1-18, is free and no application is required.

BENSALEM, PA — Even after school is out, Bensalem Township schools and other locations will be serving hot breakfast and lunches to children who need them.

This year's Summer Food Service Program, a federally funded nutrition program for all children ages 1-18, is free and no application is required. All children are invited to walk into designated sites for the meals.

There are a dozen participating locations throughout Bensalem, Feasterville, Bristol and Levittown. The earliest any will begin serving breakfast and lunch is June 24. The latest any will be serving is Aug. 16.
