Transportation Scholarship For Bucks Students Announced

High school seniors interested in urban planning, civil engineering, transportation management and the like are eligible.

TREVOSE, PA — High school seniors in Bucks County who are considering careers in urban planning, transportation management and related fields may be eligible for a scholarship.

TMA Bucks and the TMA Bucks Foundation have announced a scholarship fund for such students. Based in Trevose, TMA Bucks is a nonprofit group that oversees transportation needs in the county.

The TMA Bucks Foundation Scholarship Fund is for students planning to study civil engineering, urban planning, transportation management or other related fields. Any graduating high school senior who is a resident of Bucks County is eligible to apply.

The scholarships are one-time awards paid directly to the college or other accredited secondary school the winning students plan to attend beginning in fall of 2020.

An application for the scholarship is available to download onthe TMA Bucks website and available through high school guidance counselor offices.

All applications must be received by 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 30. They should be sent to TMA Bucks, 7 Neshaminy Interplex, Suite 103, Trevose, PA 19053. Late submissions, or submissions by any means other than hard copy, will not be considered.
