Turnpike Power-Line Work Means Slowdowns In Bucks Co.

BENSALEM, PA — Overnight travelers on the turnpike and I-95 in Bucks County should be prepared for slowdowns and stoppages from late Friday into the early-morning hours on Saturday.
According to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, crews will be installing power lines that cross the turnpike at mile post 355.6 in Bucks County.
Drivers in both directions on the turnpike and southbound on I-95 will encounter slowed traffic between the Delaware Valley interchange (Exit 42) on I-95 and the Neshaminy Falls interchange (Exit 353) on the turnpike. They'll be in effect from 11:59 p.m. on Friday to 4 a.m. on Saturday.

During the stoppages, turnpike maintenance and state police will restrict turnpike traffic to 20-25 mph. Drivers are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly.
