Veterans Benefits Expo, Town Hall Set At Parx
There will be roughly 80 exhibitors at the expo, as well as conferences for different groups of military veterans.
BENSALEM, PA — A benefits expo for military veterans, along with a town hall meeting, is scheduled for next month at Parx Casino East in Bensalem.
The first-ever Delaware Valley Veterans Benefits Expo will be held Friday, Nov. 8, to kick off Veterans Day weekend 2019.
Vets from throughout the region will have a chance to learn more about the benefits available to them at about 80 exhibit tables. Among the event's exhibitors will be the Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, the VA Regional Office, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Pennsylvania Career Link, Veterans Upward Bound and the Coatesville VA Medical Center.

An opening ceremony will begin at 1:45 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. The expo will run until 8 p.m.
There also will be a Veterans Administration town hall meeting fro 3:30-5 p.m. There's a Women Veterans Conference from 5-6:30 p.m. and a Post-9/11 Veterans Conference from 6:30-8 p.m.

All three will be held on the third floor at Parx East.
Admission to the expo is free and open to all veterans, spouses, widows and children in the Delaware Valley. The Veterans Benefits Expo is sponsored by the Bucks County Veterans Affairs Department, Parx Casino and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
