2 Hurt In Crash On Easton Road In Warrington

The accident happened when two cars crashed into each other in front of St. Anne's Church in the 1500 block of Easton Road.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA ? Two people were hurt Tuesday morning in an accident that closed Easton Road in both directions in front of St. Anne's Church.

According to a preliminary investigation by police, a BMW SUV was attempting to make a left turn from the church's driveway onto South Easton Road when it was struck by a northbound Nissan SUV.

The operator of the Nissan, a 53-year-old man, was transported by Warrington Ambulance to Abington Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the BMW, an 82-year-old woman, was also transported by Warrington Ambulance to Abington Hospital with moderate injuries.

Warrington Emergency Services assisted at the scene.

The roadway was closed in all directions for approximately 45 minutes but has since been reopened. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Rihl badge No. 155 at 215-343-3311.
