BUCKS COUNTY, PA ?Two Bucks County shopping centers have sold for $29.1 million in a transaction brokered by Marcus & Millichap. ShopOne Center's Reit Inc. of New York City, in collaboration with joint venture partners, the London investment firm of Pantheon and a leading global institutional investor, has acquired shopping centers in Bensalem and Newtown.

2 Shopping Centers Sell For Nearly $30M In Bucks

Two Bucks County shopping centers have changed hands for $29.1 million under a deal brokered by Marcus & Millichap. ShopOne Center?s REIT Inc. of New York City, in collaboration with joint venture partners - London investment firm Pantheon and a leading global institutional investor - acquired Goodnoe's Center in Newtown and the Village Center in Bensalem. ShopOne acquired the 34,660-square-foot Goodnoe's Corner for $15.8 million and the Village Center in Bensalem for $13.5 million. The Goodnoe's Center is anchored by Rite Aid, the Green Parrot, AT&T, Jules Thin Crust Pizza, and Firstrust Bank. The Village Center in Bensalem is anchored by ACME and Wells Fargo Bank. READ MORE

Bake Ability Opens New Gluten-Free Kitchen

Bake Ability, a sweet and savory bakery located inside the Buckingham Green Shopping Center on
York Road, has opened a new kitchen exclusively dedicated to gluten-free baking. "As the demand for delicious gluten-free options continues to rise, we?re rising to the occasion with a dedicated space to create safe, scrumptious treats for our gluten-free community," said the folks at Bake Ability. To
kick things off, Bake Ability's gluten-free menu will feature: Classic chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, rich chocolate cupcakes and fluffy vanilla cupcakes. READ MORE

Italian Restaurant Granted Liquor License Transfer

The New Britain Borough Council has approved the intermunicipal transfer of a liquor license
into town for the new HG Coal Fired Pizza, coming soon to East Butler Avenue. The license is being transferred from HG Bucks County Bagels in Warminster and will be converted from a beer and wine-only license to a full-service restaurant license. Renovations are already underway at 524 East
Butler Avenue, the former site of Forlano's Italian Restaurant, to convert the space into a bar and full-service Italian family restaurant that will specialize in coal fired pizza. READ MORE

Tavern Introduces 'Fresh And Exciting' Spring Menu

The Pineville Tavern has released a new, affordable menu for the spring whipped by its executive chef, Matthew Levin, and chock-full of "fresh and exciting" dishes. ?In designing our new menu, our original intention was to remove some things that weren?t top sellers and add some items that would bring excitement and variety for our guests to enjoy,? said tavern owner Andrew Abruzzese. ?As we began to analyze the menu, it struck me that it?s just too expensive for most families and those on fixed incomes to dine at The Pineville Tavern.? Abruzzese said when he first purchased The Pineville 36 years ago, his intent was to create a dining experience with great food, served by really nice people, in a comfortable and well-designed atmosphere, at an affordable price. Record Store Day Draws Vinyl Lovers To Doylestown

The crowd gathered early Saturday morning, lining the streets of downtown Doylestown before most stores even opened. After all, it was a special day for vinyl lovers across Bucks County and the Philadelphia region. It was Record Store Day. Inside Siren Records, workers scurried about, putting the final touches on a strong selection of special releases that only come out on this day and sometimes on another Record Store Day on Black Friday.
