20 'Enclave' Condos Coming to Doylestown

Doylestown Borough Council approves the conditional final plans for three buildings that will have 20 upscale condos on North Clinton Street.

Doylestown Borough Council on Monday approved the conditional land development for an enclave of 20, low-rise condominiums at 148/142 North Clinton St., called The Enclave at Nyce’s Mill.

Nyce’s Planing Mill and Concrete Supply was on the corner of Clinton and Union Streets, both structures had burned in historic fires, and in the roughly 1-acre site will be 20, 2,000 square-foot condominiums, with a base price of $600,000, according to Phillyburbs.com

The complex will have three buildings, an underground garage, and the units will be single-level homes.

The builder,  Joseph Ventresca Group, of Chalfont, started the process about three years ago, and this decision by council moves it ahead one-step closer to shovels in the dirt. And, even though no ground has been broken, the project already has a real estate broker, J. Carroll Molloy Realtors, that is keeping a waiting list for prospective owners who want up-to-date information on the project.

What are your thoughts? Is this a good time to build these upscale condos in the heart of Doylestown?
