333 North Broad Brings New Apartment Units, Retail Space To Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA ? The first residents are expected to begin moving in this week at 333 North Broad Street, the borough?s newest and largest apartment community.

A section of the massive mixed-use development, part of which remains under construction, is opening at the site of the former Intelligencer Newspaper building at North Broad Street and Atkinson Drive.

Ground was broken more than a year ago at the seven-and-a-half acre site, which is located just north of Broad Commons Park and next to the Doylestown Post Office.

The multiple-building complex linked by enclosed walkways is bringing 233 apartments and 10,000 square feet of new retail and office space to the North Broad Street corridor. According to published reports, 136 apartments are currently ready to rent with an additional 99 more projected to be ready by next spring.

The $77 million redevelopment project, designed by Bernardon, includes multiple buildings, two interior courtyards with outdoor kitchen and pool, an expansive rooftop terrace and bar, a fitness center, 400 on-site parking spaces, a new park next to the post office, golf and sports simulator, a game lounge, and hammock gardens.

The mixed-use complex is bringing 10,000 square feet of new first-floor retail and office space to the North Broad Street corridor.
