Actor Bradley Cooper, Doylestown Boy Introduce Eagles At Super Bowl

On national TV, Cooper, holding eight-year-old Declan in his arms, introduced the Philadelphia Eagles to the world.

NEW ORLEANS, LA ? Hollywood actor and movie producer Bradley Cooper and Doylestown?s own Declan LeBaron helped bring the ?Birds? onto the field during Sunday night?s Super Bowl in New Orleans.

On national TV, Cooper, holding eight-year-old Declan in his arms, announced to the nation and to the world, ?From the City of Brotherly Love, your 2024 NFC Champions, the E-A-G-L-E-S - Eagles!?

With that, the Philadelphia Eagles took the field for the LIX Super Bowl game against the Kansas City Chiefs, coached by the Eagles' former coach Andy Reid. The Eagles, who dominated the game on defense, went on to win the big game, trouncing the Chiefs, 40-22.

Declan, a student at Kutz Elementary School who is fighting juvenile arthritis and has made repeated trips to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatments, gained prominence after he appeared in a video taken by MDMotivator that went viral. MD, who has amassed more than 11 million followers, is known for his surprise giveaways.

In the video, MD is heard asking LeBaron, "Would you rather have $1,000 in cash or a mystery bird?" Without hesitation, LeBaron replies, "Mystery bird ... I just like the Eagles a lot," he explains.

After learning the boy was headed to an Eagles party at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and that he had never been to an Eagles game, MD surprised the young Eagles fan with $1,000 in cash and tickets to see the Eagles play the Washington Commanders for the NFC Championship.

LeBaron is later seen in the video giving away his money to a lot of grateful shoppers at the Dollar Tree store where the video was shot.

The viral video caught the attention of the Eagles and led to an invitation for Declan to appear on NBC?s TODAY Show, where he was surprised with tickets to the Super Bowl by Cooper.

When asked by the TODAY Show anchors why he was giving away the money, Declan said his Central Bucks teacher had talked in class about "paying it forward.?
