After 3 Hour Search, Endangered Juvenile Found Safe In New Britain

The search encompassed a wide region stretching from the Moravian Tile Works to the northern shore of Peace Valley Park in New Britain.

NEW BRITAIN BOROUGH, PA ? Following a three-hour search Wednesday morning, an endangered juvenile threatening to harm himself was found safe in New Britain Borough at 11:10 a.m.

The search began at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday when the Central Bucks Regional Police Department was dispatched on the call to the Doylestown Borough train station. The search soon widened to include a larger area between Doylestown's Moravian Title Works stretching to the northern shore of Peace Valley Park.

Multiple police agencies responded to assist the Central Bucks Regional Police, including Doylestown Township and New Britain Township. The search included a drone unit, a K9 Unit and a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter.
