Annual Black Cat 5K Set For Oct. 26 At Peace Valley Park
The annual Black Cat 5K has raised over $18,000 in donations for the Bucks County SPCA.
NEW BRITAIN, PA — Bucks County SPCA will host the 11th annual Black Cat 5K at Peace Valley Park on Oct. 26. The timed run, coordinated by Heidi Laubach and volunteers, will raise money for the animals. The event starts at 9 a.m.
For non-runners there is a 1-mile fun walk; pets welcome for the walk only and pet owners can take part in the costume contest. There will be prizes for the best time in each age category.

The BCSPCA will also be in attendance with pets available for adoption.
You can register at http://www.blackcat5k.org. You can also register the morning of the race between 8-8:45 a.m.. The registration fee is $25 before October 12 and $30 after.
