Biden To Travel To Bucks County Saturday

Former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden will travel to Bucks County and Luzerne County Saturday, the campaign said.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden will travel to Bucks County and Luzerne County Saturday, the Biden presidential campaign announced Thursday.

The couple will discuss "building back the economy better for working families and encourage Pennsylvanians to make a plan to vote," Matt Hill, Deputy National Press Secretary for Joe Biden's presidential campaign, tweeted Thursday.

Hill did not disclose where the campaign event would be held, and it is not listed on Biden's campaign schedule.

"The road to the White House runs through Bucks County," Christina Finello, the democratic candidate for Pennsylvania's 1st congressional district, tweeted in response to the news.

Earlier this week, Jill Biden visited Snipes Farm and Education Center in Falls Township as part of her campaign's drive to get women out to vote.

The Bidens' visit will come two days before President Donald Trump plans to address supporters during a rally at Pennsdale in Airport in Perkasie Monday.

Pennsylvania is seen as a key battleground state in the 2020 election. While President Trump won the Keystone State by 44,000 votes in 2016, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton won a higher percentage of votes in Bucks County.
