BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA ? Buckingham Township voters have elected a Democrat to its three member board of supervisors.

Democrat Mike Bateman on Tuesday defeated two-term incumbent Republican Paul Calderaio to win a six-year seat on the board of supervisors, it was announced by State Senator Steve Santarsiero, who is also the leader of the Bucks County Democratic Party.

?Two years ago, we were celebrating some great victories all over Bucks County. This was one race we lost and the candidate was there that night and it was hard to be in a room of screaming Democrats as the guy who came up short," said Santasiero. "That night, he told me he would be running again. And he did. And he ran a great campaign.
