DOYLESTOWN, PA ? The Bucks County Bar Association is calling out a recent political mailer from the Pennsylvania Democratic Party as containing false and misleading information.

According to the Bar, the mailer claims that all four Democratic judicial candidates for the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Bench are ?Highly Recommended by the Bucks County Bar Association."

That statement is false, said the Bar in a press release.

The Bucks County Bar Association in April released the results of its Judicial Plebiscite, which asked its members to evaluate the judicial candidates. The Plebiscite is intended to help educate voters on the qualifications of the judicial candidates, the Bar said.

"The results released are the compiled responses of the individual members of the Bucks County Bar Association," said the Bar. "There is no endorsement or recommendation from the Bucks County Bar Association of any judicial candidate and, therefore, the mailer is not accurate and misleads the public."
