Bucks Co. GOP Leader Passes Away At Age 41
Kirsten Houser, 41, was a community leader and GOP committeewoman devoted to improving the local area.

Kirsten Karyn (Baggesen-Jensen) Houser, born Jan. 21 1978, passed away April 2, 2019. She was 41.
Resident of Penndel, Pa., Kirsten was born in Poway, Calif., and moved to Buckingham, Pa., from San Diego, Calif., in August 1992 and graduated from Central Bucks East High School in 1996.
Kirsten attended Bucks County Community College and Drexel University for construction management.

She worked for multiple construction firms in Blue Bell and Pennsauken and projects such as Johnson & Johnson in Branchburg, N.J., and a private estate on Martha's Vineyard, Mass.
Kirsten was the elected GOP committee woman for Penndel borough since 2017. She was on the borough's recreation board from 2016 to 2017 where she worked closely with federal and state politicians on local projects benefiting the residents of the borough. As of late, Kirsten was an alternative on the boroughs zoning board. She was the organizing force behind the SSGT Clement "Chris" Gross, III USMC bench memorial held at Penndel Memorial Field held on March 30, 2019, with keynote speeches from Congressman Fitzpatrick, Senator Tommy Tomlinson, and State Representatives Tina Davis and Dean Malik.

Kirsten was the beloved wife of Kenny Houser (married 2008) and incredibly devoted mother to her two children, Emma and Declan. She is also survived by her parents and extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to Kirsten's life celebration from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Swartz Givnish Funeral Home, 323 Washington Ave., Newtown, Pa., and to her funeral service at 2 p.m.
