Bucks Co. Trump Supporters Discuss Election Aftermath On NBC News
Jim Worthington, a Republican fundraiser and owner of the Newtown Athletic Club, has been raising money for the Trump Legal Defense Fund.

NEWTOWN, PA — As President Donald Trump's legal defense team continues to challenge the validity of mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania, his supporters in Bucks County are coming to his defense.
Jim Worthington, owner of the Newtown Athletic Club and founder of the People 4 Trump political action committee, sat down with NBC News Correspondent Maura Barrett for an interview in Newtown this week to discuss the aftermath of an election where Pennsylvania proved once again to be pivotal in the outcome.
The People 4 Trump organization has raised nearly $50,000 for the Trump Legal Defense Fund, Barrett reported, which is filing lawsuits contesting mail-in ballots in a number of states, including Pennsylvania.

"We had an election two weeks ago on Tuesday and it's still not finished," Worthington told Barrett. "We have to eventually get to who was the real winner and we have to make sure nobody feels like they were cheated or that it wasn't done properly or fairly. This is not just for this election, but for all elections going forward."
Vice President-elect Joe Biden won Pennsylvania by about 80,000 votes, according to the latest estimates.

Worthington has been a staunch supporter of Trump since 2016, when he hosted the Republican presidential candidate at his athletic club for a campaign event that reportedly cost Newtown Township almost $20,000 in overtime expenses. He also played a hand in organizing the president's last-minute campaign visit in Washington Crossing a few days before the election.
