CB West Band Director is Quarterfinalist in Music Educator Award

The GRAMMY Foundation and The Recording Academy presents The Music Educator Award; there were initially more than 30,000 nominations from across the nation.

Neil Delson, Central Bucks High School West Band director, has been recognized as a quarterfinalist from the national Music Educator Award.

The GRAMMY Foundation and The Recording Academy presents the award, which was created in recognition of current kindergarten to college-level music educators in both public and private schools. According to a press release, more than 30,000 initial nominations were submitted from all 50 states with 217 music teachers advancing as a quarterfinalist.

The music educators could be nominated by their school community or general community, and could also nominate themselves. The award recognizes the educator’s remarkable impact on students’ lives.
