Central Bucks bands set to perform during Jazz at the Rock

Area school bands will be performing during a night of jazz on April 11.

The Council Rock North Music Department and the Band Parents Association presents Jazz at the Rock featuring 17 high school and middle school bands.

The show starts at 5 p.m. at Council Rock North High School on Swamp Rd. in Newtown. Among the bands scheduled to perform are the Central Bucks South and Central West school bands.

The local high school jazz bands will be performing in competition, and the three Council Rock middle school jazz bands and two Council Rock North jazz bands will be featured in exhibition.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students. Admission is open throughout the evening.
