Central Bucks East Student Athlete Tests Positive For Coronavirus
A Central Bucks High School East student athlete has tested positive for COVID-19, the school district said it learned Saturday.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A Central Bucks High School East student athlete has tested positive for COVID-19, the school district said it learned Saturday.
"The student and coaching staff followed the guidelines in the athletic health and safety plan, reported the necessary information to the Central Bucks School District, and the student is currently self-quarantined for the appropriate number of days," the district said in a message to the school community.
The Central Bucks School District said it "immediately contacted and reported all necessary information to the Bucks County Department of Health," which will now oversee a contact tracing process.

Anyone who has been in close personal contact with the student athlete who tested positive will be contacted by the county health department.
