Central Bucks School District Address Parents About Principal Taking "Personal Leave"

Paul W. Kutz Elementary School Principal Dr. Jeanann Kahley has been on a “personal leave” since Feb. 26, according to Central Bucks School District administrators.

The district is not commenting on personnel issues at this time, other than to confirm that Kate Fantaskey, who is the assistant principal at Groveland Elementary, is filling in for Kahley while she is out.

Assistant District Superintendent David Bolton addressed the matter with parents via e-mail on March 26.

In the statement, which the district e-mailed Patch, Bolt said, “There is unfortunately no new information to share regarding Dr. Kahley’s return date to Kutz. She is still out on a personal leave and I promise that I will share any additional information with all of you as soon as it is available.

“Please know that upcoming events and PSSA testing have been planned and will continue as normal. I continue to be so appreciative of the staff at Kutz, and Ms. Fantaskey, for their daily support of your children.”
