Central Bucks Wrestling Champ To Be Recognized At Board Meeting
Chase Williams is the first-ever Central Bucks 9th grader to win the PIAA 3A state wrestling championship.

DOYLESTOWN, PA ? The Central Bucks School District's first-ever 9th-grade state wrestling champion will be recognized at a meeting of the Central Bucks School Board on Thursday, March 20. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the district's administrative center on Welden Road.
On March 8 in Hershey, Chase Williams became the first-ever Central Bucks 9th grader to win the PIAA 3A state wrestling championship. Chase earned the title in the 107-pound bracket, also becoming the first state wrestling champ from Central Bucks East since 1982.
Chase finished his season 40-2 and avenged both of his losses during his postseason run.

Chase, in addition to his coaches and his family, will be recognized at the board meeting by Superintendent Steven Yanni.
