Confidence Rises For Weekend Storm In Eastern PA
Forecasters say confidence is increasing for a storm system to impact the region over the weekend.
EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — Forecasters say confidence is increasing for a storm system to impact the region over the weekend. A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued by the National Weather Service.
The system, which would arrive Friday and linger through the night Saturday into Sunday, could lead to "excessive rainfall" and even some snow. Flooding is possible, the National Weather Service said.

Expect rainy conditions Friday. Then, on Saturday, rain is likely throughout the day. Precipitation could turn to snow overnight, the National Weather Service predicts. Accumulation is unlikely, however.
The exact track of the storm will determine whether or not it will become the season's first nor'easter, forecasters with AccuWeather said. The good news: "As quickly as the storm will arrive, it will be just as quickly swept away on Sunday," AccuWeather said in a news release about the storm.
