DOYLESTOWN, PA — Do you miss going to the movies at the County Theater?
Well, you can soon satisfy your craving for the big screen. The County Theater, along with Doylestown Borough and The Moving Picture Cinema, is planning outdoor, socially distanced movie screenings at William E. Neis Park.
The Outdoor Summer Series will launch this Saturday, Aug. 22 with a screening of "The Goonies."

The gate opens at 8 p.m. and the movie will begin at dusk (around 8:45 p.m.).
Then, on Aug. 26, there will be a screening of "The Wizard of Oz."

Tickets for each screening are $5 for adults and $3 per child. You can reserve tickets online here. No cash or walk up sales will be accepted.
You'll need to order popcorn and concessions ahead of time online. Also, bring your own chair or blanket.
Some safety measures will be in place. Among them: all interactions outside of your group may only be done wearing masks while distanced 6 feet apart from one another.
William E. Neis Park is located on West Street in Doylestown.
