DEI, CRT The Topic Of NAACP Town Hall Meeting In Bucks Co.

The town hall is a chance for residents to have their voices heard and to listen, collaborate, and take meaningful action, organizers said.

DOYLESTOWN, PA ? The NAACP Bucks County Branch is partnering with Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority, Inc.- Omega Zeta Omega Chapter to host a town hall-style discussion about DEI and CRT on February 18 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event will take place at Doylestown Borough Hall located at 10 Doyle Street in Doylestown 18901.

"Common definitions are essential for clear communication," said the NAACP. "Our goal is to demystify complex concepts, promote intelligent dialogue, foster understanding, have respectful discourse, and consider differences of opinion. This gathering will provide residents with an opportunity to voice their concerns, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions on issues affecting our community in a welcoming and inclusive environment without the barriers of politics."

The conversation will be led by the Honorable Judge Clyde Waite.

"We believe that an informed and engaged community is a strong community," said NAACP Bucks President, Adrienne King. "This town hall is a chance for residents to have their voices heard and for us to listen, collaborate, and take meaningful action."

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions, ideas, and concerns.
