DelVal Kids U! Launches New Virtual ‘Grow With Me!’ Series

In partnership with the Friends of Washington Crossing Park, DelVal’s Kids U! is excited to be launching an exclusive, “Grow With Me!” virtual series this spring for kids ages 7 to 9 and their caregivers! Workshops will be held Thursday, May 13, and Thursday, June 10 from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. Each session is $17.76 per child. Register for one or both!

Learn about how colonial gardens and kitchens were arranged with a virtual tour of the Hibbs House and Thompson-Neely House kitchen gardens, how colonists observed and identified certain plant species, and more!

Participants will spend quality time together, learn new things, explore, and create a one-of-a-kind memento. During each workshop, an expert instructor will guide participants through a themed project or activity. Each child will receive a material kit in the mail before each session. Common household materials may be needed. Adult supervision is required.
