Doylestown Cleans Up After Winter Storm
A winter Nor'easter brought nearly a foot of snow to parts of the Doylestown area.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A winter Nor'easter storm brought nearly a foot of snow to the Doylestown area, according to the latest measurements from the National Weather Service.
More than 10 inches of snow was dumped on the Doylestown area, according to the National Weather Service. Chalfont recorded 11.4 inches, while Quakertown received more than a foot of snow.
The combination of heavy snow, sleet and wind has caused problems for drivers this week. Bucks County Emergency Management officials reported more than 119 calls to 911 and 18 traffic accidents with four involving injuries and one entrapment.

Winter storm emergencies for the boroughs of Doylestown, New Britain and Chalfont were lifted Tuesday night. In Perkasie Borough, trash collection for Monday through Wednesday is cancelled. Warrington Township lifted its snow emergency Tuesday night.
