Doylestown Farmers Market opens for the 2019 season on April 20th located on S Hamilton Street between W State Street & W Oakland Avenue.
Join the Doylestown Farmers Market the opening day of its 44th season on Saturday, April 20 for a taste of our area’s vibrant food economy.
From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the whole family will enjoy seeing, tasting, playing and learning from over 30 different rotating vendors. Opening day will feature free samples of vendors’ delicious goods, live music, and your favorite springtime veggies and garden plants. Later in the season look forward to chef demos, fruit and vegetable tastings, kids activities like scavenger hunts, showcases of local nonprofits, educational workshops, and more.

The Bucks County Foodshed Alliance
Doylestown Farmers Market is a subsidiary of the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance (BCFA).
BCFA works to support a healthy and sustainable local food system, and offers programs on a range of topics such as gardening and food preservation. Mark your calendars for our amazing farm tours this summer: June 5: Tussock Sedge in Blooming Glen, July 10: Fulper Dairy Farm in Stockton, August 7: Anchor Run CSA in Wrightstown.
BCFA collaborates with partners such as Penn State Cooperative Extension and others in farming, retail, education, healthcare, restaurants and government. BCFA is a 501(c)3 public charity supported by donations, grants, sponsorships, and membership dues. Fundraisers include the Annual Appeal and annual Bucks Foodshed 5K Run in September.
