The marker, she said, was the idea of Susan Pierson, the president of the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance, the parent organization of the farmers market, and was inspired by Rutherford?s Camera.
Unger also gave a shoutout to Laura Trauger, whose farm has been a vendor at the Doylestown market for all 50 years, before the official unveiling of the commemorative marker.
?Thank you to TileWorks for their amazing work,? said Unger. ?And a shoutout to Pat Achilles for her amazing illustration and Amanda Gerace who made it into a tile. With that we open the market.?
